ELA Directions:
For Summer 2024, students are asked to read a variety of short pieces using the grade level Tic-Tac-Toe boards that are featured below.
Reading must be finished by the first day of school in September. During the first week of school, students will be assessed on the reading, and the assessment will count as English grades for the first marking period.
The English Department website includes several graphic organizers and reading questions. Students should complete ONE graphic organizer per text. As students read, they should use post-its to record their thoughts/questions/observations.
Honors and AP Summer Assignments are included below and feature different requirements.
